11.2023 finally landed and loaded (here in Aus.) - reset all bimmercode settings.

Car is snappier when taking off at the traffic light, - still fun to drive...

We don't get specific changelogs, 3/2024 is usually not out until mid-late 03, then we won't get it for at least a month or two after.

Installed 11/2023.50 last night. Reset Bimmercode coding as usual. The only thing I have noticed so far is it changed the way my drivers seat control works. It used to be if I slid the button forward the seat would go forward, slide it back and it would go back. Since the update it has switched so sliding forward makes the seat go back and vice versa. It is truly bizarre ....

Anyone else see this issue ?

My 11/2023 OTA failed yesterday and the car had to be towed to the dealer. Luckily BMW roadside assistance sent a signal to let it start and drive below 10mph so it wouldn't have to be dragged up the tow truck. The dealer had to update the car with their computer and I already have the car back. I've done 3 other OTA updates with no problem so not sure why this one failed.

Isn't 11/2023.50 the latest? Is this normal behavior?

The up-date completely wiped out all of my settings and put the car to stock.
I had to reprogram everything; radio settings, stations, lane departure warnings, tones, M profiles... I wasted close to 2hrs going back through it all.

An update showed up for me today. 11/0223.50

It's always a finicky pita though between Bluetooth, AirPlay, slow speeds etc.

That’s so weird. My BimmerCode settings didn’t even get wiped this time.

I did it on my Android phone after it took forever OTA for car. The only thing I had to do was refo auto start. Mine went flawless.

I have been running 7/2022 since my car was delivered in 10/2022. I have received several notifications of upgrades available since then but all have required the use of a smartphone to download them. I do not have a smartphone by choice, so no upgrades for me. Several years ago the downloads did not require the use of a smartphone, but were sent directly to your car. That ended somewhere around 2020 or 2021.

Yesterday while driving I received a notification that upgrade 11/2023/50 was in the process of downloading and would be ready for installation soon. I was rather surprised. When I got home it was ready for installation so I parked the car, set the parking brake, shut off the engine, and punched "install now". 10 minutes later I had 11/2023/50 without the need for a smartphone. It's about f..kin' time BMW.
