What's the build status of your car?
I was only checking once a day while I was waiting for the car to begin production, but now that it has I find myself checking several times a day looking to see if it's moved to the next dot. So far no luck. Stuck on dot 3.

I check probably like 20 times per day lol, also the first thing I do when I open my eyes every day. Today is first I started tracking the vessel. Really fun yet painful :

And as a similar side question, how many times a day do you come here to get a fix for stuff about the car in lieu of having your own car?
And, do you get concerned that maybe you forgot to order something, like executive package or maybe you accidentally ordered base model as opposed to competition? and you get OCD and have to go double check that is there in your order? |

interestingly only US costumer can check, I for myself can't check here in Switzerland...But my dealer keeps me up to date
I think better like this, otherwise I would look 200 times a day ! |

I have yet to get an allocation but I know once I do and I have that production number in hand I'll be checking it all the time.
I remember when I had ordered my E92 I was checking the status ALL the time. I was even calling the 1-800 number all the time (now BMW Genius) to check and see if that had a different status versus the website. It is all a part of the fun of doing a custom order! As for the forums, I'm checking in here all throughout the day to read as much and see as much about as I can about the car.

I am on the forums many times per day scouring for information and just too scratch the itch until I get mine and then I will still be on the forums most likely daily to see what others are doing to there cars. As in mods, etc.
I check My BMW at least 6 times a day and call the genius line everyday as well. It's like waiting for Christmas lol. |

I've checked it about 10 times today and I've only been up for 2 hours. Still in the paint booth but appears to be on schedule to finish assembly on March 23rd.
Allegedly the tracking information is a couple of days behind. |

Same with me here, check at least 15-20 per day. This week has been quite eventful - exterior body assembly, paint booth, entering assembly line, assembly and quality check so far.
Can’t wait to drive a manual again. |

My car has been sitting at "production begins" for several days. And here I thought from seeing the factory tour that it would quickly progress through the chassis to the outside in like a day or so. Apparently not.

Realistically, it's an assembly like right? So the car moves through it start to finish. You'd think it would all happen quick-ish. Although I guess there must be some kind of backlog at the paint booth as it doesn't just sail through there.

Late Sunday night could be eventful given the time zone difference for us west coasters. Not really sure what time the production line cranks up on a Monday morning...

For me, I was checking twice daily (morning when I wake up, and right before bed) while the vehicle was entering stage 150. Once the car hit the port and was on transit on a ship, I checked the ship vessel 4 times a day. Once it hits the VPC on March 26th, I reckon I'll be checking it every hour until the dealer tells me the car is ready for pickup haha
