How comfortable are the carbon seats?
I am getting ready to submit an order. I am on the fence on the carbon seats. They look really cool, but this will be my daily. I also love vented seats.

Very comfortable. If you're not a "fit" person ingress egress may be a challenge clearing side hip bolsters. |

couple things with the seats.
1) they are not easy to get in and out of so i would try it if you would be on the fence or have an dexterity issues in lower back / legs 2)great for track driving 3) no problems for commuting around 30 minutes 4) drove 3 hours one way over the weekend, it was tough, the back support is great, but the thigh bolsters don't give enough space to move my leg around, i could probably push to 4 hours in the seat, but after that i would need to stop and stretch 5) absolutely gorgeous |

My issue is getting in and out. I feel you will end up putting wear on them very soon Don't think they are for daily driving but they would be great at the track Specially if you have new people in your car often that don't know how to properly get in and out to avoid destroying those high shoulders on the seat bottom |

Many have said if you're over about 220 lbs then it is not likely you will find them comfortable. I'd rather have the ventilation with regular seats anyway and skip the ingress/egress acrobatics.

Get the carbon buckets...Its not really a hard decision. they make the car much more special, save a bit of weight and are extremely comfortable depending on your body type.
For me they have been as or more comfortable then my gt4 18ways, miles ahead of my QV standard sets (worst seats I've ever sat in) and overall just an amazing seat. Slightly difficult to get into but nothing like a Porsche carbon bucket. You'll regret not getting them. |

If you have a family or daily drivability/comfort is more than a 20% factor, I highly suggest the standard seats. The m3 buckets are more adjustable than the gt4, but not significantly more comfortable IMO. So be eyes wide open that it's about as comfortable as sitting on a roller coaster seat lol They look ill though, if i didn't have a family no question I would option them. Just keeping it 💯 with you and trying to provide a balanced perspective |

I drove both the standard seats and the carbons at the track (at M school), the standard seats are excellent on the track, and you really don’t notice much difference in how they hold you in vs the carbon seats. I really think the only big advantage for the carbon seats is aesthetics
In terms of comfort - the carbon seats are comfortable once you get in, but getting out is cumbersome. |

I echo what everybody said, try the bucket seats before you order them or you may end up with a car that is useless for you. I am 5'9 150lbs and I found the buckets extremely uncomfortable. I really wanted them because of the looks and the cutouts so I gave it three shots but could not stand it.
The back support is great but getting and out was tough like sitting in and getting out of a bath tub. The hip bolster is very aggressive and because of the weird raised center piece (for your bits and pieces presumably ) there is very little lateral leg movement possible which made the seats unusable for long drives for me. just try them before buying

I love the look of carbon bucket seat. But man… it’s a bit uncomfortable for long drive. I live in OC and need to drive to LA for work. It’s really bad for me.
But this is just IMO, so please don’t take it personal. I owned an M3C with a carbon bucket seat. So I’m just saying how I feel. But the look is great and it really wrap you nicely compared to regular seat. Again, just IMO. |
