Another KW HAS Setup with a Twist

Had a KW setup installed today. EAS spent a lot of time getting exactly the setup that I wanted from the car and I am very happy with the results. Had them even the gap front to rear instead of running the rear tucked and having a front gap.

Had a few other goodies installed as well, most notably 18/12 spacers. Started with 15/12, but the fronts still weren't flush and I wasn't happy with the look. It rubs pretty hard (I ended up with Pirelli's from the tire lottery) in reverse on the right side duct fins, but I will trim them up at some point and either way, it isn't anything critical.

With this setup both wheels are equally flush now. As far as the ride goes, it is excellent. I tried both Comfort and Sport and was happy either way. Didn't really notice any difference from stock even on sharp impacts or big compressions over the 75 mile drive home. Overall really impressed with both BMW's damper tuning and KW's spring rates/ride height.

That's the best looking KW setup I've seen. That's pretty much a perfect drop IMO. I'm not a fan of the tucked wheel look and a finger gap all around looks great IMO.

Looks great. If possible can you snap a side shot of the car. I had the has kit on my F80 and loved it. Looking for the same look. About a finger gap all around but even. Hate the rear tucked while the front is up.

That's how it should be done! Hopefully you didn't have to do the mod thing for the front and get to keep the adjustability.

No mods to the KW setup. I think the front is nearly bottomed on the threads and the rear has some more drop available. As a side note I have the stock exhaust and springs in the trunk here which is why the rear is slightly lower.

What size spacers do you have installed? Is this rear wheel drive or Xdrive? Looks fantastic!

Thanks! RWD with 18 front and 12 rear with Pirelli's. It rubs hard on right hand full lock, but it is only the fender liner fins. Going to hit them with a Dremel this weekend. I have zero rubbing in normal driving so far.

Looks great! That's what I want mine to look like when I install KW HAS!

Any tips for setting the rear to get a similar drop from the 1st try?

I think they said the fronts have 1-2 threads left to avoid seizing and the rears are about 5/8th up from bottomed.

Thanks, your setup was a good inspiration especially when you talked about mounting 18's up front. Once I saw the 15's on I said no way, I will deal with the rubbing assuming it wasn't structural.

Good time chatting during your visit yesterday, love how your M3 turned out.

How are you liking the new PSI midpipe setup on the drive back home?

It was perfect except for spinning the rear wheels on the freeway at 70+ trying to see what it sounded like on the way home!

Regarding the sound, in comfort it sounds like stock cruising on the freeway. Sport and Sport Plus open it up nicely. Cold start sounds awesome as well now. Very happy with the results and appreciate the team's patience with getting the setup dialed in.

Tom how many of the PSI midpipes have you installed? An issues with contact with the cross brace? If none, then are you aware if they have changed their welding jig, compared to early production, to prevent this?
