Pick up my 2022 M3C on Friday! First ever BMW for me so I'm looking forward to this, I've had all sorts of vehicles over the years but I thought it was time to see what all the fuss was about

I did, the AWD will be nice in the winter up here as I plan on putting on winters and driving it year round.

Looks like the reviews were all released last week in the UK:
https://www.topgear.com/car-reviews/...on/first-drive
https://www.pistonheads.com/news/ph-...h-review/44865

Looks like going for the X-Drive is a no-brainer according to these reviews anyway...

Me too. Reports are rolling in of near C8 0-60 performance. With this kind of performance, combined with excellent day to day liveability (is that a word?), its looks are definitely growing on me.

Is the grey color featured in the first page of this thread available in USA?

Appears to be a frozen grey of some type... not seeing it listed as an option...

That’s “Individual Frozen Dark Grey” which can be configured as an individual color, the color code is P6N and it’s available on the individual visualizer: https://visualizer.bmw-individual.com/ Name: 660D4D75-FD16-41A7-B106-0838312A1EC9.jpeg

BMW's website can. Always better to go the source.

I see the 60 time is reduced by .4 seconds and maybe the wheels... not sure if there is anything else?

I think purely off the 60 time I'd get the comp but just want to verify what else separates the two.

A google search will bring up plenty of info and here is one of them.

The biggest difference is the base only comes with a manual transmission and the comp only comes in auto. Most pick their preferred transmission, then the choice is clear.

HI. I am trying to find information on what I am to expect if I take my BMW M3 G80 to Germany. I am interested in tech aspects, i.e. what I need to do in Germany to make it roadworthy. Many thanks

Hi folks! Been away a while in a Cayman GT4 and B9 RS4, but both are going and I've just ordered a new M3 xdrive for delivery in March/April. Does anyone have a view on my spec? Controversially, I haven't opted for the buckets and I've no interest in the automated driving tech.
