5-series 4000lb M3 with 450hp = Uninteresting
The new M3 is going to be longer, weigh more, AWD, no DCT, and is going to have that questionable grille. I think a lot of people will be disappointed. It reaffirms my love of smaller cars.

Hmmm....there will undoubtedly be RWD, MT, etc. versions of the car. Sure, it'll still have to handle weight effectively, but BMW does a pretty decent job of managing that.

On the contrary. Those that I know of have seen it are very excited by it. One comment I have heard them say that it's the most, visually aggressive M car yet. And far from restrained.

I'd expect the next m2 to weigh more than a z4 m40i. I bet it's 3600 lbs and that really wouldn't be that bad. slightly less than the current one

Did those who saw it see the 4er concept car or the pre production G80/82? It could be a day and night difference. Again, look M8 concept.

Sounds promising! Tell them to share! haha. Should see something official soon I'd think with the most recent SOP estimates? We'll keep impatiently waiting in the meantime...

Likely by the end of the year if reports of being able to purchase the car early next year are true.
