Nice, is it true that the yellow DRLs only remain yellow when parked, or are they always yellow even when driving and with headlights on? Thought I heard US regulations don't allow it but maybe I'm making that up

They are only yellow while headlights are on. That's because front lights must always be white.
While driving with only DRL, they are white. With headlights on, the yellow DRL is so minor (when measured on a testbench), that i passes regulations.

Wondering if some coding can be done to make DRL yellow all the time.

Fingers crossed

Depends on the market version as to what parts are yellow or white in different operation modes.

This is it
An M3 CS Touring especially if it was manual and automatic would be an absolute classic. Timeless

I wonder if the M3 LCI gets the amber DRLs too?

I recall reading something a while ago that the LCI cars were to get a "M-specific headlight option". Would be nice to get this when the Laser lights are specced.

Latest M3 CS prototype spotted side by side with M4 CSL. Also some good looks at the interior with iDrive8 widescreens.

Latest M3 CS Sighting Next to M4 CSL

It's hard to tell bc there's a cover over the dash, but it at least looks like the idrive8 panel is integrated with the design of the dash. Not just tacked on to a flat dash like we've seen in other cars so far.

Mild optimism that I'm not going to hate it.

That titanium exhaust looks fu*king awesome.

Also, really anxious to see "M" implemented into iD8. I really hope it's a step up from the i4 M50.

People are in denial for ID8 starting for MY 23, you can run but you can hide from ID8. Hopefully the full on M software interface is better that the carton interface of the i4 and iX.

Anyone else think the front splitter on the CS and CSL looks out of place compared to the rest of the car? It's extremely wide and sticks out from the car too much.

If it has a real Aero function I couldn't care less.

So it's safe to assume CSL will have ID7 and the CS will have ID8?

With the back glass covered, I'm guessing there will be M5 CS-like rear bucket seats on the M3 CS.

Agreed. The carbon interface does not "fit" an M car.

I personally like the iD7 interface...maybe just a slight improvement on that and we'd have a winner.
