they just want to sell the more expensive models sooner

I have my doubts that this is a CS model, look at the rear caliper, I don't think a CS will come equipped with that. Or maybe the performance of this single piston and a Brembo twin piston is the same??

I like the new seats, even when I don't see myself in one of those all the time. The wheels looks good, obviously a PITA to wash! The dash looks good, it will come with iDrive 8? I want to see the electronic cluster, I've always driven the analog gauges and I'm still asking why they change it...

I'm still waiting on the news if it'll come with AWD.

When are they announcing / revealing the new car? I feel like by the time this gen is revealed spy pics for the next gen will already be floating around.

Gets a center compartment and rear climate controls this time? This must be an early prototype between that and the presence of a sunroof here too

Backwards from a performance standpoint. I remember the introduction of fixed callipers on the F80 were a talking point in the press release, they'll be quietly glossing over that now for G80...

Exactly what I was thinking...The CS version of any car we always see the lower models already being sold for a couple of years. I highly doubt this is the CS.

I don't know if you guys noticed but the sensor where the distance cruise control is it makes it seem the grill is gonna be a lot smaller vertically than we thought...

Then why would it be offset? It's just that it will look terrible with the horizontal design of the grill. 4 series will have it painted to match the overall design hiding it that way.

Here's an older photo with the grill more visible.

Perhaps because of the electric handbrake?

Curious if this is coming out early in model run and whether it gets AWD.

6MT would be a big plus.

Not a fan of the "double stagger wheels & tires", I never liked the concept behind it, looks hideous, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!!

Is it because of the seats that the rear looks like it has lots of legroom? Bigger than normal.

Yup, very likely due to the electronic parking brake. That's why all the manufacturers have this setup in the rear now.

I'm sure they'll be less than the Supra markups at the Toyota dealerships nationwide but likely in line with the raptor markups at the Ford dealerships.

Say what you will, but those wheels look absolutely sick!

Arguably the best-looking OE wheel on a BMW, ever.
