Can't say I'm a fan of that eBay looking front spoiler with the turned up sides. Doesn't seem to flow with the car regardless of how much more aero they tell us it is.

There's probably already a wait list dating back to earlier this year if not last year.

I put my deposit down for the M3cs way back in March, only to be told there's already someone ahead of me on the wait list and the dealer isn't expecting more than 1 allocation.
☝🏼This!

I put my name down on the list in August of 2021 when I took delivery of my M5 CS. I've got the first allocation. However, not sure if I will take it as I'm waiting for the M5 Touring in 2024.

I didn't think about this that early. In wait list with two dealers. #3 on one and #1 on another; the problem is the dealer where am #1 is a low volume dealer, so not even sure whether they will get one. The other one is a very high volume one and hoping #3 there i get to order one

Agree, the lip looks really like some cheap aftermarket stuff…one thing that I don't like on the CSL. It's functional, but they could have put some design days more into a more flowing design.

Beginning of this year I mentioned the release of this M3CS to my salesman and he said he hasn't heard anything about it but thanks to this forum I was very persistent and once they finally got word, they put me first on the list.

Good job, that's pretty much how I got my CSL allocation with the exception of also having a good referral from a fellow forum member who baught 5 or 6 M cars from the same sales manager/dealer.

The rear seats in the F80 M3 CS absolutely fold down.

As a drummer, if the rear seats can fold I'll probably buy one.

If it has cool bucket rear seats and doesn't fold because of it, I'll buy, as long as rest of the performance bits are there.

A 200lbs weight reduction would make this an awesome performer. But we will be lucky to get 60-70lbs

The AWD is the 'critical path' in terms of weight. At the end it'll be lucky to get to RWD weight of a normal M3.

System adds 110lbs on top of auto trans witch adds around 70 I think.

Notice at the end what Joe Achilles says. M5CS is still better than the M4CSL as an overall package.

M3CS has a huge opportunity here.

I think BMW may step on their own toes from a technical standpoint and defend the M4CSL from a marketing one.

Yes of course no the f80, but the rear buckets on the m5 do not, and if they put rear buckets in here I'm sure they won't either.
