With dealers getting september allocations this week, creating this thread to track allocation updates for the month of october. It would be helpful if we can use the below template for updates.

Finally set in stone and got me and my business partner our allocations! Excited to say the least. 2x Individual builds. Mine is the 6MT, his is the Xdrive.

Model: G80 6MT + G80 Xdrive
On dealer waitlist since: July 2022
Dealer waitlist progression (from last month): N/A
Received production number: Yes (both and input on MyBMW)
Build week (if allocation was received): 48 (both)

Build week (if allocation was received): Genius today said Week 47

Late Nov build seems a bit long... but it's been pretty quick compared to most so can't complain.

Finally got a production number after placing the order in March. Looks like the requested build week is 48 so barring any delays or issues hopefully it stays that way.

For those with Individual orders ... I've been told by United BMW here in north Atlanta that no Individual colors are allowed to be ordered at this time. Clearly that's not the case for everyone. Has anyone else been told the same?

Any M3 allocation can be configured as base, comp rwd or comp xdrive, so it doesnt matter.

Based on the latest post in below thread, calbears has ordered one for his dealer inventory.

that one just went into production. But I just got a frozen black M3 approved yesterday with many more individual M4s submitted yesterday as well as the M550i and X5 M

Sounds like the dealer just doesn't want to and is making this up. I was once told the same thing... that there was some "internal memo" they just received that BMW is no longer accepting individual orders... this was back in August when I was still hunting for allocations.

I received my allocation last week. Today my SA told me my configuration is locked. How long before I can track my build?

You can track your build right after getting an allocation. More info in the sticky thread.

You won’t get a vin until your car is about ten days from the start of production.

It comes with your allocation.

So my SA told me my spec is locked I can't make any changes. At this point they should have a production number right?
