2023 BMW M3 Comp gets Rowdy with Valvetronics EL Exhaust

What's up fellow BMW afficionados...I recently had the Valvetronics rear section installed to compliment the EL mid pipe and I'm nothing short of impressed.

The difference the Valvetronics rear section made over the OEM axleback is quite impressive. I wasn't expecting much of an improvement but boy I was wrong. It's a much smoother & refined sound in addition to the improved looks of the muffler section over the OEM rear section.

Check out the video for details.

Think the outlet pipes are a bit too long since they're clearly visible inside the tips, should be an inch shorter or so, but sounds good nonetheless.

Thank you! The tips can easily be moved further out which will show less of the outlet pipes. There is a ton of adjustability with the tips so they can be positioned to your liking.

I had the same thoughts after upgrading my OEM axle to the Valvetronic. The tone smoothened out, with less rasp, more of an exotic note.

I was pleasantly surprised at the change in sound & agree 100% with what you’ve found as well.

Thank you for the great video. Gotta agree, the VT system does sound good.
Had a question: do you get any drone around 1800-2100 rpm?
I have catless downpipes and the same system but can’t figure out why I’m getting this drone ONLY around that rpm range. I might need to recheck my bolts but not sure.

I have a catless DP with the VT system, the drone is very minimal. I would double-check all of the exhaust components to make sure nothing is touching on anything.

I have an SST controller and when set to OEM-like functioning, it's practically near stock level of drone. When I set the valves to fully open, there's a low-volume hum when on the highway.

You’re welcome!! I appreciate you checking the channel out.

I haven’t experienced any drone with the different exhaust setup’s I’ve tried.
