Question "Safe boost" for the stock intake manifold?

I'm trying to figure out a "safe boost" limit for the stock intake manifold. I did a search on the forum and didn't see anything discussing this.

I'll eventually be using an aftermarket intake manifold with port but in the meantime I'm just doing ~E50 on the stock fuel system.

I'm currently hitting 28-30 psi and wanted to see if anyone else has done more without breaking their intake manifold, or what limits people have seen.

I was on 33lbs with no problems. I think the minimal failures so far is just bad luck. I have seen 38 lbs on them and no failure. Its a gamble just like the s55 crank hub haha

I have set the JB4 safe boost limit to a maximum of 29 psi to ensure safety, but if you're willing to be more aggressive and accept the risks involved, you can increase the boost to the mid to high 30s.

Remember that pushing the limits comes with potential consequences, so proceed cautiously.
