..::PSI::.. - Eventuri S58 Carbon Intake Overview (G80/G82)

Since the release of the new G80/G82 we have seen many intake options hit the market. With each new option came more questions regarding whether or not there will be any horsepower gain. In most cases, the answer was... maybe. Under ideal circumstances all intakes could in theory increase horsepower. All of these options were made equal.... until Eventuri stepped into the ring.

The Eventuri Carbon intake is a massive increase over the stock airbox. With the turbo inlet area increasing 160% and the filtration area increasing 40%, the sheer amount of air entering the S58 is unmatched. This will leave you with a 13-18hp and 12-16 ft-lb increase with the STOCK TUNE. These numbers are unheard of and unbeaten in the intake game. To make things even more enticing, the carbon finish is flawless and takes your engine bay to the next level.

Check out our Newest video that goes more in depth about what makes these intakes stand out against the rest!

Great video. Thanks for showcasing this piece. I received mine few days ago, and I've just been waiting for it to not be 90 degrees in my garage. I'll probably knock this out, later on, this morning.

And fast forward 17 hours and my Eventuri is installed. Big warning to people that have limited tools. I don't have much more than a 50 piece Craftsman tool kit. 1/4 inch drive and 3/8s. You need an ass gaggle of proper tools for this not to take all day.

Do yourself a favor and let Sean@PSI install this thing. Unless you have long handle 1/4 drive ratchets, uniwiggles that don't go limp on you, and plenty of combinations of extensions. I also have the downstar kit, so, make sure you have all of the tools to remove the bars. I dropped a screw and a socket onto my Turner skidplate, and had to Jack the car up, that's now lowered that the Jack doesn't fit under, in the front.

Just let Sean install it, I literally would have paid someone $300 to install it. It took me the better part of 8 hours with losing my tools in the skidplate and having to Jack the rear drivers side, until the front drivers side came up, so I could get a Jack stand under it.

Did I already say, just have Sean install it? It wouldn't be so bad if there was an idea what kind of tools you needed, but it was so many specialty tight fit tools that I didn't have, I just had to make it work.
