I stumbled upon this, while I was pricing out other things. This puts to rest some rumors about cost. It looks like this is a whole kit, that comes with everything you need. Its significantly cheaper than $10K and this site offers free shipping. Keep in mind, for the price, this is full titanium.

Did the F82 MPE take this long (post vehicle launch) become available or is this strictly due to COVID?

Hard to believe we are going to be in model year 23' before any of the original parts become available! 🥵

BMW pricing doesn't make sense to me, so $7,000 for the titanium exhaust (I think it's only half length?) which includes a carbon diffuser. If you didn't get the carbon package on your car the normal carbon diffuser is selling for $5,000.. so this exhaust only costs $2,000 technically? Also if this actually sounds good and I can get over the looks it's seeming to be a much better deal than akrapovic at $10,000 without their diffuser

It definitely seems like it's taking a long time to be released. But I do see a few cars with them. Makes me think that BMW put a few out there for people to test, maybe?

I feel your 10K comments refer to Akrapovic, keep In mind Akrapovic 10K price is for the full catback.

The $10k comment was a rumor about the cost of this exhausts. I'm just confirming that it's not going to be $10k. The post isn't referring to any other exhaust, except the MPE. Here are some installation and sound clips.

The exhaust is too quiet for my taste. If anything, this is how it should have sounded stock from the factory. Plus the $7k price for the sound and the staggered look is not worth it. Personally I think the Remus race version sounds better, it has a deep throaty sound to it and it's half the price.

I had mulled over and over about getting the Carbon Exterior package, and I didnt end up getting it. So, I guess the $4,700 I was going to spend on the Carbon Exterior, will get me this exhaust for about $3,000 more. I added it to the cart, and tax, for me, was like $512. Another way people get screwed in California. State sales tax is 7.25%. I still need the intakes and the Mirror caps, though. I guess I could have just bought the carbon exterior, and sold the carbon rear diffuser for $2,500.

California screws you on everything but thats a topic for another discussion, after reading some of the comments here I take back what I said $7,000 for an axle back and a diffuser is a bad deal if you bought the carbon pack already, which I have. For you it makes sense. I may just bite the bullet and do the full akrapovic and keep my carbon diffuser, this exhaust is very quiet and it should be a catback at the very least. If someone has a 5-10% off Black Friday sale it will push me over the edge, however I highly doubt it would happen.
