"Zoomies" (Exhaust Cut Outs)
Hi All,
Curious if anyone is going to pursue this route and more importantly if its even possible and/or advisable? https://www.kindigitapparel.com/prod...xhaust-cutouts If you've watched Motortrend at all and are a frequent viewer of Bitchin' Rides, you know what these are. They are the exhaust cut-outs that allow you to open flaps built into the cutouts from a button inside the cabin Apparently the kit from Kindig It doesn't include the electric switch, but this company seems to have a kit with it: https://quicktimeperformance.com/i-3...c-cutouts.html Closed=stock sound Open=loud as hell With the kit above, you can "Run it closed, run it all the way open or any position in between." Thoughts? Edit: Maybe I'll just call and talk to Dave. Lol Last edited by M3-san; 07-16-2021 at 03:28 PM.. |

Its cheaper to do a valve controller.., unless you put these upstream of everything in the midpipes its gonna be the same volume except with zero sound tuning.

Laker cut outs were everywhere in the Muscle Car days. The only difference is electrical control on these--and 20 times the price. But the Lakers weren't downstream of anything but the headers. Cats and resonators cut the exhaust note before you get to these.
