I am in the port as of 7/4. I just find it hard to believe with all the delays that I would get off that easy. I ordered an M340i last year and to say that it was a disaster wouldn't be enough. Months stuck at the port until I canceled the order. I guess time will tell. Hoping for a better experience this time around...

Anyone sitting in Galveston get an update? I was just told vehicle has been released to carrier; however, ETA is now 12 Jul.

No biggie, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't hoping to pick it up tomorrow

Called earlier, was told there is a work order that was opened. No carrier assignment yet


Y'all think this work order might be for any damage sustained during transport? They couldn't tell me anything, said maybe performance part, which I never ordered lol

Ask Genius who is your carrier and give them a call. They'll tell exactly when your car will be delivered to your dealership.

I saw you had posted that previously and asked to no avail. Genius told me my dealer would have more information

Well, mine was released for transport yesterday but the dealer arrival was moved from 7/10 to 7/12. Looks like I won't be driving the G80 this weekend. Genius also said they don't have carrier information in their system.

Try calling this 👆 company, ask if they are moving your car and give them your VIN. If they are transporting your car, they'll tell you exactly when your car will arrive at the dealership.

Otherwise, you can continue calling Genius until you get a rep that tells you your trucking company name. The Genius reps are so random. Each of them is willing to tell us different things. Poor training.

My car has been assigned a carrier but genius does not have the carrier info. Work order was opened and closed yesterday.

Yeah, doesn't look like it'll be today. I saw a couple transport trucks making a pick up at the VPC earlier, but that was it.

Genius told me my car was released for pick up yesterday. Also mentioned trucker shortage, so should be next week sometime when she arrives at dealership.
