M4C campaign at VPC waiting ?

My car is arriving to Baltimore later this week.
Do we know if an official campaign is waiting to be completed at the VPC for M4Cs once the cars arrive to port ?
If true, that will delay the release to land transport for another week.

You've posted this in several locations. Why do you think there is an outstanding campaign?

Because my CA is seeing in his system an unspecified software campaign waiting for my car in Baltimore.

Why would you think that means anything anyway? Every car is processed at the VPC and it will be anywhere from a day to a week or longer, no one knows how long it's going to take, not even your CA.

Absolutely it means something Berzerker.
How about delays in getting the car in your hands ?.
And already confirmed there is a stop sale on M4s.

There is no stop sale on M4s lol. I have no idea where you're getting this information from. My M4 was processed within a day through the VPC and delivered just last week. Your CA is feeding you bunk information.

Multiple people in the last week reporting their CA telling them their vehicle is subject to a stop sale.

Just had another forum member here be told this, his is an M3.

So, wouldn't say this is bunk information. Would say it appears to be very selective so far but, is in fact, real for multiple people waiting for delivery.

Seems like it may have been either an error or a very selectly targeted issue

> Dealer confirmed that there was a stop sale but that it has been "corrected" at the port.

Yeah, it's an issue, but it's sketchy. The term "stop sale" usually is reserved for large swaths of VIN's or whole model lines. For individual cars they tend to use the term "open campaign" or the like. yet several people have used the same language. Not sure it's an error but not sure what it is.

most odd.

According to this post it's for a "rim paint defect".
