Wow. I'm on pace for that as well actually. Love driving it. I'm possibly looking for a local shop that can be trusted with the midpipe/x-pipe job. I'm hesitant to swap in random botched piping but it just sounds so weak and I can't take it.

I'm looking to swap out the exhaust, but I'm just not sure which one yet. Also, I'm not sure if it voids the warranty. Im gonna have to look more into it.

Voided warranty's are not a thing. Worked for many German manufacturers for quite a long time. It's a case by case basis in regard to what is and isn't covered if modifications have been done and can be proven but they'd never void the whole cars warranty or anything like that. If a dealer ever gives you flack you just ask for the DSM's info and tell them your lawyer will call them. They won't let it get any further because it's not legal for them to deny coverage based off their own opinion. Obviously the dealer wants to cover themselves so the only person at the dealer you could ask would be the owner or service director/manager because everyone else is irrelevant. They don't want the headache of actually denying claims though. Please share this info. |

Wow this is great to know! I don't know too much about modding yet, but I'm glad I was able to find this out, thanks! This is my first sports car, so I'm trying to take it all in and learn a lot about it.

For instance both of our Audi dealers here know my wife and I well. Purchased plenty of cars and we've always done service there. 2-S5's, B5S4, RS4, R8, RSQ8, S6, Q5, SQ5. Not one was stock and they would only ask me what mods were done as to not screw anything up. They never gave me a hard time about coverage when some part failed. |

To answer your question gatedR I am in the Fort Myers area for another 2 months. If there are others in the area, then let's do an M meet. I've seen a few Ms and M-lites around and it would be nice to build up the community.

I had a couple ideas for you that aren’t BMW places but they’re privately owned/operated shops. My names Tamer if you still have access to the thread or I’d imagine I’m easy to find on Facebook with my name lol my profile pic is me with my bicycle on a mountain in case there’s more tamers than I assume lol Shoot me a message on Facebook |
