Finally got enough of a look at the tires and see you got the Pirellis. Speedyf16 got Michelins on his delivery in Canada. Guess tires really are a lottery, like the tire lottery thread! Ha ha Can't wait to see what I get!

Michelins and Pirellis same thing bro I just wanted Michelins because you can fit larger spacers on. From my research I believe I can do 12 in the front and 15 in the rear with Pirellis however I could have down 15 all around with the Michelins! We shall see once I drop the car after break I period.

There is only one aspect of the car that disappoints me and that’s how quiet it is
The exhaust needs way more roar to it … sounds like a sleeper car

The car is a beast otherwise though … usually I tune my cars right away but at 523 hp this thing already hooks 😂

Yeah I am waiting on spacers to see what mine looks like with it lowered on MP HAS and what tires I get. Prob won't do spacers till after break in anyways, figure I will see if I need to adjust the height and if I do have to raise or lower it might as well get the alignment done after adjustment with spacers on.

I was wondering about iDrive 8.5 and if it comes with the Digital Key Plus feature (where you can store the key in your iPhone/select Android phones and unlock the car with the phone in your pocket) on the G8x LCIs.

Did you get a chance to check if this feature exists on your car?

So I haven’t been pushing the car much since I still have to wait 1 week before my full body ppf appointment. I only go hard when there are no cars in front of me lol to avoid any rocks coming at me. Butttt from what I’ve done the car is an absolute animal. Very responsive, I feel connected to the ground, feels like a perfect level of stiffnes. I don’t think I’ll be tuning it for a while as there is plenty of power.

Only downfall of the car is that it’s WAY TOO quiet for an M ….

I use my Apple wallet to unlock the car. You just put your phone against the door handle and it unlocks. Can leave the keys at home if you want.

Gotcha. Does your Apple Wallet key have the “Passive Entry” option (can be accessed in Wallet -> BMW Key -> ‘i’ icon top right) ?

There is no passive mode … I’d be way too paranoid with that

There is an express mode that just doesn’t require you to do Face ID or passcode to use it but I may even deactivate that hahah

The iDrive on the M cars isn't a full 8.5 system. It's a hybrid 8/8.5 called "iDrive 8.5 M Edition"

Some of the features are there (bottom bar heating/cooling seat/steering wheel functions) and some of them aren't (new home screen, bottom bar shortcuts)

As far as we're all aware, no G8x is getting Digital Key Plus
