40 Ratio(front) on 19s'. Did that work ?
Hi guys! Plannin to buy g81 but try to find wheel config with 40 ratio in front.
Bcs 35 ratio is too hard for my wife when we drive both Someone knows/looks same spec ? I'm think about 265/40/r19 front and 285(or 295)/35/19. But wannna understand did that fit noramally on g81. |

If you want to use 19" front and rear, I see that Michelin Pilot Sport 4S comes in 265/40ZR-19 for front. You could use the same size in the rear for a square setup; I do not see a suitable rear 285/295 fitment, but you could fit 275/40ZR-19 in rear for a small stagger. I have done something similar on my M3: 275/35R-19 front and 285/35R-19 rear. No problems. Glory to the heroic people and especially the fighters of Ukraine!

265/40/19 will not work, will rub heavily. Too tall.
Plus, you do not want to do that combo. Your ECU will not like that OD front to rear ratio, the rear wheels will appear to spin faster than the front so your traction control will kick on every time you drive. Front 285/35/19 will work if you have 295/30/20 rear (or 295/35/19 for 19). 285/30/20 or 285/35/19 rear is ok too
