Probably better not to go into a new car purchase worrying about depreciation. It's impossible to predict like bri1042 said but it is safe to assume than a 3 year-old M3, regardless of miles, is probably not going to be worth 90-95% of what you paid.

Generally and historically, luxury German sedans do suffer a bit more depreciation than average. Anecdotally, it seems like true M and AMG models hold up a bit better than the regular versions of the same car. Prices seem elevated right now but will regress to the mean as interest rates continue to reduce demand and supply catches up.

Thanks for the detailed response! Ive been on the fence between a 2014 C63 AMG 507 and ordering one of these. If the 507 deal falls through then I think ill be ordering a 2024.

Prices have always varied by location. My 2022 M4C was purchased new at MSRP less the BMWCCA rebate & BMWFS rebate of unused miles on a lease turn in.

At the same time California cars were an easy $10,000 over MSRP.
