Hey all. Based on the most recent news, it seems the CS models will be available in 2023.

Who remembers what the price differential was between the last gen M3 and the M3 CS?

I am trying to get a feel for what the new gen pricing will be, and figure the gap will stay about the same.

The 2018 base m3 MSRP was $66,500 and the cs was $98,250 (all without the $995 destination charge). If you add that $31,750 price difference to the current 69,900 MSRP, you're looking at $101,650 for the 2023 m3 cs.

However, given what inflation is today, I suspect prices of all BMWs will rise by model year 2023 and the price difference between the base and cs will increase as well. My guess is MSRP for 2023 m3 cs will be $104,990.

Ouch. Haha. Did the CS have the same options packages, or was most of it standard?

At $115 out the door (assuming the options remain the same on the CS) it is the same price as a moderately equipped 911. That makes it a much tougher call.

Limited options: 5 colors, exec package, ceramic brakes. I think that was is. Plus content removed: comfort access, center storage, single zone climate control and probably a few more things that I'm blanking on

CS-specific suede interior trim, DCT only, are the two things that I could remember aside from those.
