Hello all,

I've created a shortcut to open my gate and created an icon on the welcome screen of my iphone (Iphone 13 Pro with IOS 17.3.1) . However that icon isn't display in Carplay of both my 240 and my i4.

I thought it was a general problem with shortcuts, but it turns out I can start the shortcut with Siri while in the car and Carplay will ask me to give the parameters of the shortcut and then execute it.

Anyone know if it's possible to display a shortcut on the Carplay screen because I would rather press a shortcut than use Siri.

I'm not sure what the "welcome screen" is, do you mean the home screen?

If you're trying to create a makeshift "app icon" that goes on the home screen of CarPlay, you can't do it. Those are native apps that have to be developed specifically with CarPlay support for it to be able to be added to the home screen.
