Your CA (client advisor/ salesman) should be able to give you an up to date on when its scheduled for a carrier. At this late in the game, mine was right on schedule, after 8 days at the port with a RAM stop sale.

How'd you get the pocket door swapped out? Was it a custom fabrication or is there somewhere you can order them?

I dunno about the door sills in alcantara. I'd be too afraid of those getting really scuffed up over time. Does look cool though.

I have Alacantara throughout my Porsche 911 GTS and I think it's a PITA. Why do you want to add more? I drive my car wearing driver's gloves because I don't want to damage the Alcantara.

I'd like to do this to my A-Pillars. I can't stand the fabric they put on these pillars. Mine are already scratched, somehow. It happens to every one of my cars, where the fabric on the pillars gets scratched. I don't know if its from the dealer grabbing the pillar and swinging into the car, or what, but it's annoying.

I don't know the part number , but mine it's custom made . It's the only option available , no matter what the interior is .

It was custom made . I was afraid to do the doors sills , but i have a friend which had his door sills covered in alcantara 3 years ago and they are looking good .

Was this a easy "do it yourself" job? How much, how long does that stuff take to dry, and how long does it say it will last?

Places in my area want $500 to apply leather protection.

It was $60 on Amazon. There are tons of videos about this product and the application. Took me about 2 hours to do the whole car. Very simple. Supposedly will last 3 years. There is enough product to do 2 cars IMO. Minimum dry time is 6 hours so I did it before bed and I don’t plan to use my car until this afternoon anyway. Hope that helps

Any discoloration of the leather? Goes on like water? How's the smell? I ask because a guy from work just had the interior treated on his new C8, and when he was showing it off to us recently, I noticed the inside smelled like bug spray....

Used the same product in mine. Didn't notice any smell. No discoloration or change in feel to leather. If you don't want to do this version, gyeon also has a leather coat (I think it's called) that is a spray on product. The "coat" lasts 6 months or so.

Just search for gyeon leather sealant....plenty of videos etc out there.
