Ground Clearance in BMW M4 G82 with M Performance

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Hello everyone,

I am very interested in installing the M Performance parts set. However, I have some concerns about ground clearance. I understand that the standard clearance for this model is 120 mm, but I am curious if installing the M Performance parts, including a front splitter, would alter this.

Has anyone installed these parts and can provide insight into how it impacts the car's ground clearance at the front, side, and rear? I live in a country where road conditions vary significantly, so I want to avoid accidentally scraping the car.

I would greatly appreciate any information and suggestions. Thanks!

I have the M Perf front lip on stock height and it hasn’t really affected clearance. I still go over speed bumps at 15 mph lol. I’ve lowered cars in the past but honestly the peace of mind I’ve had this way, I don’t think I’m going to lower this time.

I live in NYC and commute to Brooklyn on a daily basis with some of the worst roads imaginable. Some of the roads here are genuinely as bad as Pakistan where my family is from and that’s a 3rd world country lol.

Had an F80 with CS front splitter and my new G82 xDrive with MP Splitter has more clearance. My suspension is stock, no drop.

I have the BMW kit set at 15mm drop with Turner lip.
No issues scraping on driveways or speed bumps. But I ABI (always back in) because the splitter is 5” about an inch lower than parking blocks and curbs which are usually 6” here.

Shameless photo. I need some fresh pics…
