Spoke with Genius. He said that the car is now at "the port of exit" but no vessel assigned, however he said it should be getting on a ship this week.. Taking this with the smallest grain of salt.

My CA says "no boat attached to it yet, but it could be any day now"

CA says the dealership has 3 other M3s and an M4 along with mine that switched to "in transit" (but none have ship assignments)

Hoping it's getting on the ship that's leaving today to the west coast!

At the Port for 10 days now and getting very anxious. I want to have the car and at least be past the 1,200 mile service for a cross-country trip in September (time share week in Fort Lauderdale and HS reunion in Chicago afterwards; anybody can take a rental to a reunion but they will know I own it with my Calif. vanity plates).

I called Genius this morning, and they gave me pretty much the same info - it looks like all our cars were stored elsewhere, and are making their way to a port to be loaded, but no boat info yet.

I'm still "in transit", so my theory is that we're all either catching the Virgo Leader (soon to arrive) in Bremerhaven, or the Orion Leader leaving Zeebruge. My hope is that we catch the Virgo leader, since Orion takes a trip to a couple of ports in South America, and is scheduled to hit Hueneme about 10 days later.

Some people are waiting at port. Some are waiting at distribution centers..etc. Realistically they say 6-8 weeks before you hop on a ship.

I couldn't agree with you more. Even though the GM at my dealership confirmed I am on the boat I had to check for myself. I had to re-enter the VIN on BMW website to show "In transit" too...But literally all the enthusiasm from the ordering process to delivery is 99.99998% gone.

West coast is taking 6 weeks minimum to get on a ship, definitely not sooner at this point.
