Looks like it's getting similar G20 kidney grills. I think this car will look great looking forward to the initial release.

So is the grille gonna be two separate pieces? Or joined in the middle with a piece of trim like the G20, M2 Competition, and 8er? Or completely open in the middle like the i Vision Dynamics and iX3?

There's two mules. This one and the big grill one. They both show up in the last video that was posted.

Like a true fluffer. The shock has probably been reduced by at least 30%. SCOTT26 has done an excellent job of priming/fluffing us. That's probably what he is paid to do; prepare our small vaginas for that Mandingo pounding. I actually admire how well he has done at taking the shock & awe out of us leading up to the official reveal. I need to buy that man a drink.....

.....after my vagina recovers.

I'm actually curious about how that conversation went down.

BMW: "Listen SCOTT! We realize that this new look is going to be a game changer; polarizing even. We need you to utilize the trust you've garnered from the enthusiast community and prep them for what's coming to the market. We need their eyes to adjust before this new car is officially revealed. We give you full license to do what you need to do to accomplish that, even if it's force feeding them details of the design. Anal only hurts if you fight against it. Do the Lord's work!"

SCOTT26: "You got it! ...and you can count on me. By the way, should I use a water based lube or petroleum based lube?"

BMW: "Go in deep sans the lube for all we care. Just get it done, and with minimal tearing."

Lol!!!

It's not separate in terms of horizontal halves. The long grills will be bisected by the license plate. Think Audi large grill with a plate in the middle.

I mean halves like lengthwise. Will it be two separate kidneys with paint in between like the Z4 and X3? Or with a piece in between like the G20 and 8er? Or one giant piece like the iX3?

Where can I get a California license plate made to 4x the normal size?

Based on my understanding and the full grill spy shots, it'll be two tall pieces; no paint in the middle, but with a section to mount the plate. It's going to look funny with our smaller U.S. plates. The German plates may fare better.

I will make mine own custom plates that will cover the grill more
Basically change the grill shape. Custom molding... Hahaha

The 2er is the only other smaller Coupe it could be.

The 4 series is getting bigger, hopefully the 2er will not end up the same.

How do I know you are not part of bmw M's trolling that scott is referring to? I trust no one!

Thank you Scott for chiming in totally debunking this ghastly mule. I’m all in for the design as hinted by yourself and the attempted 4 series render by Bimmerpost but everything grill on this Spain mule is g’damn awful.

It'll be entertaining to witness their reactions and attempts at back pedaling when the car is revealed and the grills are indeed large and unlike anything currently in BMW's line-up.
It's not THAT big of a deal, if I'm to play this down for a minute. If I really can't get over the way the car looks, I simply won't buy it. They can fashion an antique steam engine cow catcher on the front of it for all I care.

You have to admit this is genius trolling on behalf of BMW M.
They remove the lower portion to tease especially when we are at the period where the front camouflage has to be removed especially for heat and altitude testing.
Hit it right on the head... BMW M is doing a great job at trolling everyone. Now what would be gold is if they actually laugh at all of us going crazy in these threads lol
