Hey guys it's deff been a journey! Talked to many of you all on here, lots of wisdom and positive thoughts from my experience!
Sold my 19 WRX STI 2 weeks ago.
I had ordered a 2023 6MT back in July 2022. With an estimated time of April to June of being here.

After getting rid of the STI, and looking for good deals around the US for maybe a good spec 6MT. I Found an amazing ride, made a deal overnight, got finances together and flew out to to Chattanooga TN, and drove it back home 7hrs, to North Carolina through the mountains.

I am amazing how this drives and sounds.
Purely excited!!

Love the titanium exhaust and intake. Awesome presence. I haven't seen that intake yet so I checked out there site. Pretty cool you can pick different colors and have something personal etched into the metal.

I know it's definitely worth it. I love the way the turbo sounds with valves closed! Always been a fan of the purple burnt and they match the exhaust beautifully!

I think there is for sure!
However, there are about 4 quick mods to do for 6MTs.
I've done the first two so far, FYI.

-MP Shift Knob
-Clutch Stop Upgrade (with metal innards)
-CDV Delete
-Polyurethane Bushing

Can you elaborate a bit more with #2 and #4
I’ve done a few mods and it’s vastly improved shifter feel and ease to shift

Might need some elaboration from you as well. What mods did you do?

#2 Clutch Stop:
Allows faster and smoother shifts by removing the dead space between your clutch pedal and the floor. Snaps into place like your OEM clutch stop and is fully reversible. For me it made reversing uphill into my garage a lot easier.

#4 Bushing:
Even after rebuilding your manual transmission shifter with brand new BMW components or installing a short shift kit, your shifts will still be at the mercy of soft factory bushings. Designed with 100% comfort and low manufacturing costs in mind, BMW's factory carrier bushing offers a freedom of movement on all axis, resulting in "factory installed slop". Any manual transmission aficionado knows that when it comes to shifting, slop is the enemy. Causing inconsistent gear locations, embarrassing missed shifts, and an overall experience that is less than confidence inspiring.

The result of the bushing, is a complete design solution that offers much crisper shifting and a more engaging driving experience with nearly zero added gearbox noise or vibrations.

Where can you purchase the polyurethane bushing for the g8x?
