Nice, you should be dispatched from factory by Thursday. Mine was sent off on Monday- moved from QC to Dispatched very late in the day.

Unfortunately for me, tracking via BMW Canada doesn't show arrival at port. The next checkmark now is once the car is in transit, which could be several weeks! I just have to wait patiently and maybe gauge movement with the others on the thread.

It's a ship lottery, no way to know. Probably the most unpredictable part of the journey is the port! We could be waiting several days or ir could be several weeks!

Shows "in transit" for me now but I don't think it means I'm on a boat. Our Canadian statuses move from "dispatched from factory", to " in transit", to "at the retailer". I've read "in transit" may mean on the way to the port or at the port awaiting assigment to a boat.

Last years price was $2,710. Ill attach a build sheet with it installed from the port. You can add it to your build, anytime before the car gets to the port, after that, you're locked out. You can add any of the accessories to the build to be installed at the port. Side skirts, rear winglets, front lip, HAS kit, floor mats, and trunk mat. You can also order BMW wheels and get them installed. But, this is a bad idea, because you lose the factory wheels that come with the car. Tell the dealer you want option Z58 installed. Thats the order code for the suspension.

Everything you want to know, is in that thread. The car will get aligned. They do not need to adjust the headlights, as they are self leveling.

M Performance HAS height adjustability: 5mm-20mm (BMWs recommended drop is 10mm)

KW HAS is 10mm-30mm

I'm going with the KW HAS kit due to it being able to go 10mm lower.

If the drop was the same I would have just gone with the port installed ones tbh.

If port installed is $2800 with alignment included

KW HAS is running me $1200 for part plus $600 for install labor plus $150 for alignment = $1950

$2800 to have BMW warranty the work is worth it but the height was the issue.

"Port Installed" would be at the destination port, stateside. The east coast is serviced by the Sparrows Point VDC/ VPC (vehicle distribution/processing center) which serves 125 east coast BMW and Mini dealers. There is also a VCP in Spartanburg, and New Jersey.

Thank you Limegrntaln! The information you provided on the Z58 option is very helpful as this is something I do plan to add to my build.

One additional question - I've searched on the board and can't seem to find it --- is there a list of ALL port installed options available online? Would be even better if it included pricing for each option. I'm thinking I'm just missing it in my search as this would seem to be something a lot of people on this board would be interested in.

Between Wallenius Wilhelmsen and K Line - top 2 shipping companies BMW uses - I counted 7 different dates between March 31 and April 16 where you could catch a boat. There are some more in April as well. Seems like you have good options.

I just emailed my sales advisor asking if they can see whether or not I’m at the Bremerhaven Port or Krefield Distribution Center.

If I’m at Krefield I could be sitting there for weeks.
