Remember it's AWD "on demand", not full time. *In certain extreme sudden side slip g load spikes, it will engage regardless without M Traction Control. |

haha i always get a kick out of my car sliding a bit but probably not much planned in the way of huge controlled drifts. id think for that the rwd mode would be what you use anyway though right? Trying to stay under 80k just for psychological reasons so im trying to prioritize the options

It surprises me that there is no Xdrive badge. Nothing to distinguish it. BMW puts badges of all sorts of everything

When a RWD is gassed by a AWD, including by the future G83, then you can realize the invisible badge on the rear.

It will be slower from a roll than the rwd variant though due to the extra weight and drivetrain loses and it will affect track dynamics at the limit ( admitted 95% of owners this will not matter). AWD isn't always a positive . People focus on launches too much , all the worlds fastest track cars are rwd for a reason .

The 1 million dollar plus mid engine HyperCars are exceptions , but due to their straight line prowess NOT handling . The ring is def a power track . That being said a Manthey GT2 RS and the AMG black series both rwd are the two fastest currently despite not falling into that category with the Lambo in 3rd. On tighter tracks the black series for instance does much better than the SVJ .

Families and hauling crap become things that some of us have to consider as we get older. Gone are the days where it's easy to only own a single two seater sports car and in all reality you only needed the driver's seat. If we all had the income and garage space to hold every vehicle type that we need AND the vehicles we want, on top of any extra cars for every other person of driving age in their household, then yeah I would find it odd that people cross shop the two. All of that is to say, I really wish they'd bring the wagon to the US

I've driven both X3M and X4M. X3M feels like a sporty small SUV, but I was very pleasantly surprised by X4M. It felt like a sedan. Very quick and agile. I hate the way it looks, but it's an awesome car otherwise. I can see myself getting into one if I was sick of M3's.

Literally just convinced my fiancé to trade her Mazada CX5 info a X3M, and I currently have an F80 with a G80 comp in production. This way if I need to drive the SUV I can still haul ass.

As of 4/30: Once we get an allocation I will reach out so you can send me your build sheet. July would most likely be the production month. |
