Thanks for the guide. Assume you used an axle stand with legs under the car! What jack do you have - been trying to find a good low profile one.

Did you have to reset any codes/status in the car eg brake miles to go etc? Did you need to replace brake wear sensor?

Thanks

Yes i had jack stand under the center of car!

It is a cheap harbor freight jack, its light and low profile, but it doesnt jack up that high.

Nothing needs to be reset and wear sensors do not need to be replaced. Now both of those is because the car only has 600 miles. If you are close to having to replace the pads anyway, then you would need to reset the brake pad timer in the settings and would be good to replace sensor at that time also

The nuts are a deformed locknut, should be replaced but they are extremely pricey from the dealership if I remember correctly. I have reused mine 6 times now and just correctly torque them. I'm sure next year I'll replace them with a similar m12x1.5 flanged deformed locknut.

This is great, thank you! what type of jack stand did you use? I'm trying to figure out what tools I need to safely work on the vehicle.

I just have some generic ones i bought years and years ago, anything with good ratings on amazon should work just fine!

So two bolts need replaced for each side on the front. What about the rear, any bolts require replacement and what’s the part number? Also if doing the 12v battery trick. Where do you touch the wires to? Anyone have a pic or video of that technique?

Thanks!
