So I just called BMW genius, and they said my car is scheduled for "Week 7 Production", same as i've been told the whole time.

That means my car should be scheduled to be FINISHED by then, right? BMW genius said he thought that was when my car should BEGIN to be built.

The last time I called the Genius line they told me the same thing but BMW has always scheduled it as the week it's supposed to finish

Just received my vin and went to production begins this morning. Laser lights are still on my build sheet, parking assist plus and always had the moonroof if that helps anyone.

I'm still waiting on VIN too. Still stuck at 112.

If we don't get a VIN today, is it safe to assume we're getting pushed back or is there a chance we get VINs tomorrow/this weekend?

For those that have gotten pushed back previous weeks, can anyone comment on this?

Not really sure. I sent an email to BMW Genius asking the same thing. The last 2 I've sent them they've never responded though (no idea how people are getting responses haha).

Sounds like we'll either get pushed or our garage just hasn't been updated (that seems to be happening to some as well). I guess I'll see if they ever email me back, otherwise I'll call tomorrow if I still don't have a VIN.

There is a chance to get VIN tomorrow and Saturday.

I’ve read plenty of other week threads where folks don’t get there’s until the week prior to their build week and still make it. You all have time still.

Just called Genius because I was curious. The guy I talked to was finally a knowledgeable sounding one. Mine has started the production pack (chassis getting ready) but hasn't officially entered production/body assembly.

He's showing a start date for that of the 14th and still scheduled to finish by the 18th/19th. So I guess I'm still week 7.....I just need to learn some patience

I was not so lucky with the geniuses, I just called as well, still no VIN. But they said i'm currently still week 7 build. No information more than that. I guess i'm waiting with you.

I talked to some guy named Bobby. I know it's luck of the draw with who answers, but if you ever call and happen to get him, he's a good one haha. Ended up talking about my build for a minute, and he was a fan. He at least knew about the options and choices which is more than most of them...sounded like an actual car guy.

I don't have a VIN yet either for what it's worth. He said it should get assigned right before assembly/production begins, so I'm guessing I'll get it around this time next week. Hopefully you too!
