RS6 is in a completely different price league though, almost $30k higher starting price.

But I'm also a HUGE fan of Audi Avants, I would love to see the RS4 Avant make a comeback to the US as well.

Faster? You mean topspeed as it isn't limited? Yes. But you live in Canada, so why do you care, that a B3 may run over 300 km/h?
Regarding performance on track (lateral dynamics) the G81 will wipe the floor with the B3 Touring.

The B3 is epic and better looking.

In the UK, the issue is it's 2.9% APR on a BMW, and 10-15% discount. 6.9% on a B3, and no discount. So the B3 comes out dramatically more expensive. So the B3 is for people who can ignore that fact and buy it regardless

I bet they offer it in North America. I just bought a 2021 E63 wagon. Cult cars with people willing to pay a premium to get their hands on one. Sold my 2014 wagon with 80k miles for 59k on BAT. This car (even with that awful grille) would have a similar reaction.

That's what people said about M2CS and there were plenty available for purchase without preorders required.

Same thing was also said about 1M.

I don't predict it to be that tough to get one at time of release.

But you're right in that it'll be unlikely that BMW puts a manual in it bc that would require them to listen to their core base. If you're going to make it anyway, why not stick a manual in it? I can't give BMW too much of a hard time though, bc it's one of the few companies still making a stick.

The 1M sold out instantly upon release.
Nothing like the M2 CS! which was easy to find .
