Absolutely stunning and far more silver than grey.

Not sure if Donnington is an option for G80/82, but it would be my choice of 'silver' if available.

I’m also considering an m5 and Donington grey is a standard color. It looks nothing like this, much more grey on configurator. This pic looks great and much more silver as you describe.

What I've noticed is there really isn't a quality silver individual color. A buddy of mine recently purchased a Florett Silver metallic RSQ8 and my god is it gorgeous. I know MBB was not an individual option and yet my dealer was able to get the color approved. Looking for something BMW offers that is closest to Audi's Florett Silver. Any suggestions?
If you want something special I would suggest "Nogaro Silver - 243". Colour used on the Cecotto edition of E30. This would also need to be approved by BMW, like your MBB.

Or just try asking for the Audi colour if you like it so much. There are other Audi colours available through Individual Manufaktur

I went (ordered) for an M3 comp. Xdrive last week.

The colour I went for is the Skyscraper grey, as the Donington costs 10k Euros here in Italy.

Absurd in my opinion for a color that is so common on other models.

I've never seen the Skys.grey in person but, through the specific thread here in the forum, there are several pictures and I think it's really good. Brookling to me seems something "already seen" in other brands, and off course the Skyscraper is again a specific M3/4 colour, it's not available in any other bmw models for the time being. It cost just 1k euro, and to me its a good chioce if you want a "special" silver option. If you don't like it, for 3k you can wrap it, and even in this case, you spend less than half you would spend for an individual option.

If BMW has never done a vehicle in Florett Silver before the individual color price is more ($7,500 I believe I read in the past) for them to develop it as well as additional lead time. That is if they were to approve it in the first place.

Glacier Silver

I have a 2015 Alpina B7 in GS that absolutely glows in the sun, really metallic, flakey silver (not the aluminum-like Pure Silver). I too am looking at a good silver or grey (maybe Grigio Medio) option for a G80 for my wife. Not sure how GS compares to Audi Florett though, but GS should be an easy ask for BMW to provide.

They are probably referring to Glacial Silver.

Here is one from the F80 forums.

Note they have a link to their older car, a Silverstone Metallic II, as well in that post.

By the way, your MBB post is what convinced me to go with MBB over SMB for my xDrive order. It looks freaking awesome on the G80. I just got my allocation today and asked them to request it (and SMB as backup).

Hahaha I'm glad I was able to help you decide. I'm not the best photographer. However good you think it looks in my photos is nothing compared to how it looks in person. It's jaw dropping, honestly. Definitely go silverstone interior and blue brakes(unless you get ceramic then gold). The red just never looks right on blue cars in my opinion. The one issue I have is the wheels, none of the colors really do it for me. Wish there was a polished silver option. Thinking about doing the M performance style 963. Congrats on the allocation!

I always thought the Rhodonite Silver that BMW offered as an individual color on the '17 to '20 G30 was a beautiful silver. I prefer my silver to be on the lighter side so that it looks less grey.

If you are looking for the ultimate individual silver color from BMW you could go with the Pure Metal Silver option…it's gonna cost you though.
Here is BMW's video of Pure Metal Silver.

Thanks! Before seeing your MBB post I was set on SMB with full Silverstone and blue calipers. I've seen MBB in person on another model and it was amazing. I didn't really think much of it for the G80 until your post and I was immediately sold.

I also agree on the wheels. It's the only thing I've gone back/forth on over the last month. I love the shape of the 826M but I really wish the bi-color were a bit lighter. I love the brightness of the 825M bi-color but ultimately I prefer the sportier look of the 826M... so I ultimately went with the 826s and feel like if I don't love them enough, I'll do like you and entertain replacing them.

I think getting any individual silver is absurd, but people want what they want.

OP, can request for the specific Audi silver. I've seen people post pics of Nardo Grey M3s, Ferrari Red M4s, etc. Worst case is they'll say no and give you the closest option to it.
