Many of us use trickle chargers if not our daily driver.

Good options out there. Just make sure it supports Lithium batteries.

The bad news is they can’t find anything wrong they ran a scan no fault codes the battery itself is actually healthy they have a safe fail mode and apparently the battery shut itself down so it wouldn’t die.

So the food news is they have let the car sit for almost 6 days and it starts right up so maybe a freak thing something was left on

Now my question someone mentioned here earlier should I look into a battery tender/charger since this car isn’t my daily??

Thanks guys for the concern
I've used CTEK chargers on all my cars. Just make sure you get the one specifically for the LiFe battery:

How'd you manage to get the car in Neutral to pull it out of the garage?

Go the car back this morning they still found nothing they let it sit 6 days and it started right up scanned it nothing and the battery is good health

These batteries have a safe fail where if they do draw and get to a certain point they will shut down which is what happened it seems here to prevent damage and battery becoming dead which is good to know.

The car is running great so well see in time

Appreciate everyones concerns and help

Glad it wasn't a major problem, although curious that it even did that.

Was it confirmed that they have lithium batteries? We were all under the impression the G80 had moved back to AGM.

If there's a connector on the side of the battery it's lithium. Also it has no IBS on the negative cable.

Used the physical key and gained entry and no interior lights no red alarm light on the front windshield and the car wont start.

Im assuming there has to be a module problem anybody have any insight??

Also the car is in the garage how can I get it towed if the car wont start and cant put the car into neutral and release the parking brake??

Appreciate any feedback guys im obv calling BMW tmrrw but wanted to get some ideas on here cheers
Took delivery of my g80 Comp last week and car died on me with 80 miles on it. Ended up being a faulty alternator from factory and got it replaced within 2 days. Car did get towed to the dealer because of it.
