It's definitely more luxurious. The carbon seats are comfortable. Just takes extra effort to get in.

Portimao Blue has that classic hue of a BMW blue. Perfect balance between sporty and elegant; the best option in my opinion.

Toronto red would be fun. Sao Pao is over the top but I could do it.

I don't understand the obsession with Isle of Man Green. It's nice i guess but green is such an odd colour for a BMW. Green is not a sporty look.

Have you seen it? It's my number one choice, if I don't get frozen, after seeing it; stunning color.

White... I wanted Frozen white, but went with Alpine white instead. I'm looking into the matte PPF once my car gets delivered.

The yellow is pretty ugly in my opinion. The IOMG looked good in person. I was surprised.

I haven't seen one in person but I dont think the pics do the yellow car justice from what I've heard...its not my favorite but I think it looks cool. All the colors look good

Saw a few G8X in person at BMW of Sudbury (Boston, MA area). Color impressions:

Toronto Red:
Love it, would buy. It's bold but not too loud, not offensive. It has a red-orange vibe but it's not too orange.

Brooklyn Gray:
Love it, would buy. It's chalky and pearly and not too similar to white.

Tanzanite Blue:
Like it, might buy but not my preference. It's nice but a bit too plain on an M. Strange take for me since I thought this the best color on the G22.

Isle of Man Green:
Ehh, not for me. It's nice, but have never been a fan of green cars, with a few exceptions like Aston Martin.

IoMG for me, followed by Dravit, both with KO interior. The standard colors are good enough I'd be OK with skipping Individual. As a matter of fact, I think this is the best color pallette since the E36 M3. Hope a lot of these choices will be available on the G87 rather than just having 3 or 4 colors total

I originally thought I'd be requesting Estoril again for a new M3 order, or maybe even San Marino, but after seeing Portimao in person with black wheels, I am starting to change my mind entirely.

Well, Portimao is more of less Estoril. Certainly a close cousin. Maybe even a brother.

No doubt. I didn't see it at first and I had seen a few 4 series in Portimao (from a distance). After seeing the G80 pictures and wanting to solidify my order decision, I placed my car next to a Sand Marino M3 CS and then next to a new 3 series in Portimao. I walked away feeling like Portimao had some of the good parts of both colors and was surprised by how much I liked it. I'm seriously fond of Estoril but considering how good Portimao looks, I think it's time for a change

Baby steps I guess.

It is a nice color though. Personally I wouldn't do Estoril because it's been around so long on the prior generation of 3/4 series, but PB is a 'new' color and is slightly different and looks great. It was going to be my choice if I didn't go individual.

I have a santorini blue build coming in mid June. Will definitely post pics; threads like this were extremely useful when I was deciding on my F80 a couple years ago.
