Such a unique colour in the sun, I'm yet to see it in real life. What were the reasons why you guys chose it? Was it the pop in the sun or the shade of grey undercover or the easy to keep clean aspect etc etc? I am tossing over this and BG. Was there a reason why you guys don't like BG out of curiosity, if you did considered BG

Personally, the reason I'd easily pick DG over BG is because it's a far more complex color. BG stays the same in lighting condition, but DG has so many flakes that it's pretty much a different shade every time you see it. As I said before, if I didn't already have a grey car in the garage, this would potentially be my first choice.

I picked it because it's still a darker and more complex gray. I also think this color goes well with the controversial grill. It helps mask/blend the large grill a bit more. BG looks good too, but I think this color really is unique and makes the car look more aggressive.

This thing is ridiculously fast.

Absolutely delighted with the color, the pictures really don't capture it. It's stunning when you see it in person. You really get the gold coming through under certain sun light but in the shade it turns pretty flat gray.

Absolutely delighted with it.
I'm torn between Tanzanite and Dravit. I thought I was set on Tanzanite and then I saw these pics.

I distinctly remember grabbing an issue of Car magazine at an airport when I was younger and falling in love with a dark grey over pumpkin orange Aston Martin.

Can't go wrong either way man!

I think both look fantastic but the interior and wheel combo's you choose make a huge difference

If you do Tanzanite with Bi Color Wheels and Tartufuro it's going to look very classy.

On the other hand if you go Dravit with KO and Black wheels it looks a lot more aggressive.

What type of combo were you thinking?

This pic almost makes me want to do dravit all over again. But I really have a hard time doing the same color consecutively. That's the ONLY reason I probably won't be getting dravit again, but boy is it tempting.

I think I'm leaning toward KO irrespective of exterior color, albeit with non-carbon seats as I need ventilation in TX.

I do like the idea of Tanzanite on brown, though I have Nougat brown in my Q7 which is a bit too light, and from what I understand Tartufo is similar. Ideally I'd want a very dark brown such as Porsche's Truffle.

Guys I need some help and perspective. I’m having a huge problem deciding between drevit grey and frozen dark grey. Does the car pop in person. I’m so tempted to just get the blue because it’s safe. Ive had a blue car before but really want to give this darker grey try.

Can you provide more photos with different lighting. I feel like this is the most aggressive looking color that will still allow you to see all the lines on the car. But some shots it looks very dull like a beat up used car lol.

Is it a lot like the Audi grey?

No, I can’t provide any other photos. I don’t own a DG M3. I took that photo at a dealership. This thread has dozens of photos - more than you’ll find anywhere else online.

DG is a dark gray without shine when it’s cloudy and it’s a gray-green-brown with vivid gold-bronze metallic shine in the sunlight.

As many have said the color is truly dynamic.

It changes very much depending on the sun light.

It can look very flat and moody in dark light and then completely comes alive with tinge of gold flakes coming through under sun light

People love it in person.

I don't think you will regret it but worth seeing in person if unsure

I've posted all my photos to this thread I think but will repost a few anyway in case you get something from it.

None of these are really in proper light capturing the reflection

Edit
The last pic is not mine but you see some of the reflection

Post 111 captures it in the sun pretty accurately. It's ridiculous really, in a good way. I get comments every.single.day.

Posted this in the parking lot thread, but this should be a good shot on the "gold shine" that Dravit Grey is known for. I constantly get stopped and asked about the paint. It truly is special, even more in person

This looks amazing!

I was at my dealer today configuring a Dravit grey and I'm between your exact build with SS buckets and standard Fiona Red seats. I don't know which one to go with! How do you like it?
