Brooklyn or Dravit?
I am about to place an order of BG with KO combo M3C, then I saw the Dravit Grey - I like it a lot, nice under tone of blue which I am thinking changing from BG/KO to DG with Fjord Blue (with the calipers in blue and laser headlamp (blue))
Though I really like the DG, do you think DG is too "boring" or "normal"/"sleeper"? I see many people here are getting the BG not many DG, why did you chose BG over DG (if you even considered it)? |

Both great colors. However, I think most people would agree that DG has a bronze and sometimes green undertone to it and not much blue. With that in mind, I'm not sure how good it will look over Fjord Blue.
On the other hand, I think BG would look great with Fjord Blue and I'm hoping someone will do it soon as it's a contender for me as well. Good luck with your decision! |

Love dravit. Didn't love it till I saw it in person at the dealer. Still sticking with BG, which is what I wanted from the jump. You can't go wrong! Not sure I'd do dravit over fjord however. Dravit is too bronze for a blue interior IMO.

I think Dravit and KO would be an awesome combo. That being said I lean towards lighter colors and went with BG for my order. I feel the carbon and shadowline bits contrast quite nicely against the lighter grey.

I am liking the Fire Orange and Java Green but don't want to deal with the possible extra 3 months of individual order delay, plus I am "too old" for these colors (not in my 20's anymore) [note that I had a Phoenix Yellow E46M3 before] |

The not wanting to wait the extra time for an individual color, that part I can understand. On a side note, I turn 40 this year and will be going with Twilight Purple. I also wouldn't have hesitated going with something like Java Green had Twilight Purple been denied. I'm afraid switching to individual did bump me back nearly 3 months as well...so the extended wait time definitely sucks!

DG has a cool golden metallic that pops in direct sunlight. It’s hard to see in some pictures but very noticeable in person. The darker gray would pair nicely with KO interior. Another thought is that if you’re on the fence about the grilles, you might prefer DG. I’m actually a fan of the more aggressive look and the contrasting color of BG accentuates it

I think DG will be more unique if that's what you're looking for, when compared to BG. If I hadn't just come from a Mineral grey F80, I would have gone that route. But went with BSM This time around.
DG/KO would look awesome

I find BG a bit flat compared to a color like Dravit or Oxide. I may be wrong but they are supposed to have more layers of color than the regular colors and I think it makes them a lot more dynamic.
BG still is stunning, just not a lot of depth but it really depends on tastes.

Would go for Dravit Grey. Had a really hard time picking it between that and TB

I saw DG in person and thought it was boring. For reference, I'm also someone who thinks that Tanzanite blue is very boring and I'm currently considering Portimao as my first choice and BG as my secondary choice.
Color is so subjective. There are comments about how amazing DG is or how Portimao is the most dull color someone has ever seen. I recommend going with what speaks to you. What is it you see yourself in most, regardless of what someone else says. If you are truly on the fence, then I'd literally let a coin decide and not let popular opinion influence you as either color is likely to make you happy

I have seen BG in person and for me personally it is a little bit boring, just a "darker" white let's say with some very light blue hint in it.
DG is pretty cool with the golden flakes. I find it kind of "noble" and for myself it fits more on a regular 3 series or 5 series as it seems pretty luxurios. From all the greys in the basic options I like the Skyscraper the most. But colour is REALLY a matter of taste. If you have the possibilty try to see both of them in person, I think pictures just can't show you how these colours really look like. |

One thing to consider is that DG is going to be a lot harder to maintain and also get a lot hotter in the sun if you live anywhere hot. I've made that mistake with black cars before. Very hard to keep clean even 2 minutes after a wash

A month ago I would have said BG without a doubt. After seeing DG more and more it's getting a little more difficult. I would need to see them in person to come to an ultimate conclusion as they both look good to me.

Dravit > Brooklyn, but Dravit has no blue. It's metallic gold/bronze. Here it is in the sun and on a cloudy day.

I prefer Davit Grey, but I am not 100% sold. I haven't seen enough pix and wonder how it looks in person. I wish they still did Mineral Grey; those were awesome.
