Mine had like 25 on it. I said something like "I see you guys got to take it out for a spin or two". My sales guy kind of laughed nervously and didn't really respond. I dropped it after that because I didn't really care.

Took European Delivery (ED) and drove to Kutna Hora outside Prague the next day. Bad news, despite best efforts and 360 cameras got driver's side wheels curb rash parking on a one-way mid-evil street. Good news, cleared the 1200 mile / 1500 kilometer wear in period in 4 days and did a leisurely and legal 160 mph on the autobahn just because I could. Next bad news, took a rock to the windshield in southern Sweden. Next good news, the manufacturer's ED insurance covered the windshield and the VPC replaced it and the wheels (no charge)!

Had a friend that worked at a Lexus dealership 20 years ago. A customer's new car had to be delivered from storage to the dealer's main showroom and it was minor as could be rear end tapped in traffic. There was nothing visible but the dealer knew that that "black box" collision event data might come to light (e.g., after a post-sale second collision) and they sold the car for $4k less as "used" with only 12 miles on it.

I know none of that was the dealer. I was out of town and couldn’t pick it up straight away. My CA did an awesome job of protecting it, keeping both keys with him all the time. It was only the second or third they had received (and I think the first Comp) so everyone at the dealer wanted to drive it, but my CA wouldn’t let them. The very small price I had to pay was helping the CA finish the PDI by removing a lot of protective film as he didn’t trust the service team not to drive it! Actually, I nearly forgot - because they never drove it they didn’t pick up that the radar sensor was out of adjustment so a couple of miles after I left the dealer I got a load of error messages that the safety systems weren’t working. They fixed it as a while I waited priority job a couple of days later. I don’t know if my CA is on this forum, but he will know I am talking about him if he is, so thank you!
