If anyone knows a deanship willing to negotiate
Seems the dealers in my area (central NJ) will only sell a m3 comp at MSRP...If anyone has any contacts for dealers who aren't so greedy please let me know. Looking to finance a m3 comp

I am having the same issue. I think even the MSRP is crazy. I'll just wait for AWD. I can't wait to find out how much over asking the dealers are going to want on those. I am guessing I'll have to wait until sometime next year.

I didn't have any luck in PA either (until one found out I was able to get a discount), but did get linked up with a dealer in CT who came down off MSRP on an AWD M4 Comp allocation. If you're interested in one that far away I'll PM you the info.

Word to the wise, I got a 5% discount in writing back in December when the dealers were scared about low demand for the car
I used it as a negotiating tool when I was actually ready to purchase one...(claimed i didn't want to deal with the 5% offer because the car wasn't my desired spec) It wont get you a matched discount because there are almost no cars left but it definitely will get you somewhere Here's a hint, I'm from New Jersey Goodluck boys

would love to have a shot at anyones business. You can contact our guy Jimmy Miller jmiller@stevethomasbmw.com
lot of the pricing for most dealers is due to allocations. if allocations are low for that particular dealer then pricing wont be as good unfortunately. sometimes we are the best price sometimes not. If you are shopping out there just makes sure you look at the whole deal and not just the amount of money off MSRP. there is Money factor if you lease and there is APR if you finance as well as random fees. Happy hunting everyone!

Pulled 11.5% off MSRP on my new X3M today in NJ. Took all day of negotiating. Worked out in the end

Get a broker man...go to Leashackers and find one there. I dealt with Dan from Next Level Auto Brokers LLC and was super happy.
I will never go to a dealership ever again haha |

I second this. I went through a broker and got 5.6% off. It was a later allocation but for it to be worth me selling my F80 comp 6 speed i would need to be under msrp for me to justify it lol

I spoke with Dan at Next Level Auto Brokers and am giving him a shoutout here for his help. Really a sincere and honest guy, he was completely transparent with me and gave me some purchasing advise! I'll definitely be using him in the future for another trade/purchase.

Also in NJ i went through a broker that had an allocation with BMW of Catonsville in Maryland. I ordered in march when there wasnt as much hype and want as right now. Im not sure I could get the same deal.

I just got off with BMW of Roxbury, they’re taking the normal crook angle and assessing ADMs on their incoming cars.
They have 2 M3 coming in at port now, an X drive and a base. X drive is $10k over and base is $8k over list. No thanks, told them good luck selling it to someone with more money than common sense and nothing else to speak about here. |

I get the current status of the market and economy though so more power to them if they can get it I guess. |

I wonder if dealerships understand this will come back and bite them. I would assume that losing customers they took the time to build relationships with and not to mention the market will readjust for new and especially used cars will take a lot of people out the market for some time.

I have to imagine that I’m not the only one slowly building a mental list of dealerships I will NEVER look do business with. Will be interesting to see how this plays out long term. |
