No it was a road trip to Mt. Bachelor in Central Oregon / Bend OR.

Golf R is a little small so the cargo-box is needed for all the gear.

The touring seem to be handling Canadian winters just fine why not give the G81 this same opportunity.

And the Panamera will be bigger, heavier and probably slower.

Audi RS6 is a contender but $240k is hard to swallow.

So the answer seem to be, yes we are prepared to pay a premium to get it here as long as it’s a small premium

3x the price...gulp. A Panny GTS is $130k msrp here.

Yea my hopes of a m3 touring or the rs4 are still hanging in there. The rs6 paving a way for the rs4 would be cool. But that would still be making due vs what I would truly want in the M3. Probably 90k is the max is pay for a m3 touring. Past that other models get too interesting. Maybe BMW will really get wild and decide a m5 touring is a possibility.

Older kidney grills still look better however, if the wagon did come to the US I would put aside my opinions of the front and by one... Hope BMW listens

Looks so good. The grill is much more subtle on the wagon...or...fits better is the way I should say it. It flows...

I don't know if this is because of the different camo patterns or the black base of the wrap but on that photo, the grill doesn't look that bad.

This Audi RS6 Avant is a really sweet looking ride, the Nardo Grey with the Blacked-Out trim and Black sporty interior looks awesome! Do NOT like the heavy panoramic moonroof or the fake grills, other than that the Designers did an excellent job.

BMW has some serious catching up to do in this desired vehicle category. Waiting for the BMW M3 Touring to be brought to the States 🇺🇸. 🗽

Neither do most Porsche GT/Targas, etc. They bring prestige to the brand. I think this would do the same.

Not drawing an exact parallel between the two models, but you get my meaning.

Random question: can we guesstimate tire sizes from these spy pics of the G81 and G83? BMW had leaked that the F80 was undertired and this would be fixed on the new M3/M4. Looking at these spy pics I guesstimate 265 front 295 rears

This is the most persuasive argument in the history of these forums.

People aren't even passionate about Audi's, at least not by comparison.

If someone designs a replacement front bumper with normal size G30 grilles it's a winner
