I got lucky on my G80. Walked into my 2 closest dealers. 1 wanted $5K over, said they do me a “favor” by dropping it to $3K over. The other dealer gave me no BS and I got it at sticker. From the day I dipped the deposit to deliver was under 3 months. I know that isn’t the norm and I feel very fortunate getting my car so fast.

Just finalizing the financial with the dealer and it’s a done deal. Much better to work with than my local dealer.

Well ran in to a bit of a problem. The dealer can’t do Select. That’s a must for me. Oh well. I’m sure Hans will come up with another option.

Why would you do Select over regular financing?

Not to open this can of worms, monthly payment on financing is a few hundred dollars more a month then with Select.

I did a comparison with 72 months @ 4.99% and the interest is quite a bit more.

In all reality, I don’t expect to keep this car more than 2 or 3 years.

You end up paying more interest on Select since the interest is accrued over the entire value of the car, including the balloon amount, and it's not being amortized over the span of the Select period.

The main problem is you will most likely be under equity in 3 years vs you being pretty on-point with a 60 month loan.

You'll pay less per month now, but the car will have more owed on it after the same amount of time.

Im a NY dealer, I got 9 M3 allocations last month and 6 M4 allocations. We have 3 M4 allocations left without owner at this point we are going to discount the M4's to make sure a customer gets it instead of building them for stock and selling at MSRP. They are out there just need to look.

I actually had a few M3 allocations come in last month that weren't spoken for and sold the allocations fairly quickly. I still have several M4 allocation all being sold under sticker.

It really all depends on the dealer, some still have long waitlists, some only have 1 or 2 people waiting, some have no one waiting, but will sell allocations quickly when they come.

3rd on the list at my dealer as well, not really in a rush either, and anticipating delivery next summer as well. My dealer said I can expect the allocation to go through before the end of the year likely around November. Just saw you're in Maryland, curious which dealer you are going through

Anyone know of a dealer with an allocation available? I'm looking to build a 6MT M3.

How's that for service? 40 minutes to respond with an allocation right in your state.
