No but seriously, could that possibly be the reason for delay. I always thought the manufacturer sends the naked bucket shells to BMW.

Which then gets upholstered during assembly line. Or am I wrong in that assumption

No. While I really do appreciate the BMW Genuises, they are of very little help when it comes to these situations. This forum is far more knowledgeable than they are.

They can’t tell me why I got delayed. Most aren’t even aware of the drama with carbon buckets, so when you ask them, they’re oblivious.

I called just now and got moved back to Week 37. I’m not happy to say the least, much like I’m sure you weren’t when you first went through this. I wish there was more transparency about the “why’s” but I doubt we’ll ever get that at this point.

It amazes me the amount of misinformation that I’ve been given over the past month from BMW. I hope it’s worth the wait.

Correct, I’m week 31. Spoke to a Genius today and they confirmed it was still showing week 31.

Don’t sweat the Week 37

Numerous delayed builds have gone there & back up.

Twice it happened to me, with the most recent one aboard the 28 train.

It was only for a few days mind you. Then switched to week 30 scheduled.

Hope you get a similar outcome . Fingers crossed back to 112 very soon
