I actually stalk the BMW Seattle site daily for any new incoming M3/M4 models they have on sale. I'll look through all the photos and the last one always is the VIN sticker with the Production Month and Year showing. I do this to get an idea of how long it's taking for these cars to get to the dealer here locally. So far I've gathered that it looks like 2 months is what I see. So I'm hoping with June builds, we'll see ours hit the Seattle area dealerships in August.....

2023 M3 allocation search

I know it is highly unlikely, but giving it a shot.

I am located in the West Coast in California. I know I am late to the party but I was looking at building a m3 comp xdrive. Really want a 2023 build. Does anybody know of any dealerships in California with any June build/allocations left?

Ready to submit my build code, and deposit. Just don't want to get thrown into the 2024 production and have to deal with the MSRP increase as well as the possible price increase in options.

From what I’ve been told there’s from CA’s there’s no allocations for 2023 models left in the nation especially at MSRP. If you get an allocation it will be for 2024 with expected delivery for ~ October

Are carbon seats a must? If not there are probably a few allocations that were abandoned by their owners once carbon seats were removed (see related thread in the forum). Given how little time you have you may want to pay a couple $K and use a broker (there are a few on this forum too) to help you find one of these at MSRP.

I ordered a X5 40i for my wife and she’s kinda jealous that it looks like I’m get my car before her. The X5 was pushed back to week 31 due to the climate comfort package. When we where originally quoted week 22 build. So to keep her happy I hope her X5 arrives before my M3 lol
I can’t believe they’re still having all these supply issues. My wife’s 2022 x5 took less than 2 months from order to delivery. But it was delivered without a heated steering wheel.

Based on week 23 thread they are getting status 150 so we are last ones left. I doubt you can find allocation for week 24 at this point. Maybe but you would have to call every dealer.

Week 25 & 26 are MY23 also, and have been distributed. Week 27 is the first MY24, which I would expect to be released within the next week.

Yeah a broker is the only reasonable option at this point. Otherwise you're war-dialing the entire BMW dealer network and hoping for the best.

Last time I checked there was only two 2023's available in CA with a very high sticker price

I heard for the X’s since they are produced here in SC it’s usually 3 weeks from order to delivery. I’m in the north east so heated seats and steering wheel is a must!

While he is correct those 2 weeks are for MY23 however from the information I’ve received those 2 weeks are for them to transition to MY24 or to fulfill any orders that where delayed due to parts. I spoke to many CA and I used a broker to get my allocation 2 days ago. My was in for week 24 & I was told it was the last allocation for MY23 in the nation. Maybe there are a few left but probably at a markup.

I've found two allocations so far. One locally for a 10k mark up, and one not local with no mark up but Id have to fly out or have the car transported to Cali.

Would prefer local. I've also spoke with a broker who's currently searching, but as you mentioned I am on a time crunch so trying my best to find one. I don't want carbon bucket seats or carbon ceramics. I do need the carbon fiber package on the interior and exterior however.

Do NOT pay 10k over. That’s insane. They just trying to take advantage of the fact that u want to get car. Flying out would be cheaper for sure.

I got lucky I was on a list a while ago and kind of gave up/forgot. I got a random call about 4 weeks ago asking if I was interested. No markup. Someone must have backed out. I am in Bucks County PA.

Facts! Have it transported to you. I believe that’s $500 at least that’s what I’m being charged to transport my wife’s MY24 X5 to my house that was ordered by a dealer in another state.

Yea I hear you. My plan to do PPF right away too.
But sounds so shady. We have allocation but if u give me 10k like wtf. Don’t they want to sell the car. What’s the point of wasting an allocation.
