Bmw stripes rgb values?

Anyone did any decals of the stripes, what rgb values did you use?

I found this post but the colours look off https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1357705

I found another set of values but haven't tried them yet https://www.schemecolor.com/bmw-moto...ogo-colors.php

it's because the colors have actually changed a few times over the years. the last set posted are accurate for the 2020+ latest version. you can download the current version of the logo in vector format directly from BMW and inspect it - https://www.bmw-m.com/etc.clientlibs...go-m-light.svg

So it seems i messed up my colors originally, the rgb values for some reason were set to 0-100 rather than 0-255 in gimp

1st stripe is from https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1357705
Blue ? 0 138 201 (Hex: 008AC9)
Purple ? 43 17 90 (Hex: 2B115A)
Red ? 241 26 34 (Hex: F11A22)

2nd is from https://www.schemecolor.com/bmw-moto...ogo-colors.php
RGB: (69, 153, 254)
RGB: (3, 30, 73)
RGB: (238, 4, 5)

3rd is from Luc@Speed&Tech
Blue 0,103,177
Purple 0,61,120
Red 227,39,25

4th is from chris3g color pick of bmw's own logo
blue: 0,102,177
purple: 0,61,120
red: 226,39,24

3 and 4 are basically identical, yet for some reason i think 2 is the closest to the logo on my engine cover. The difference between the blues is much bigger than on the official logo. Yet according bmw's folklore the middle color is a combination of the light blue and red, so it should be purple like in the 1st stripe... no?
Anyone else?

Unless you're going to display the colors on a screen, you probably want CMYK values or Pantone colors.

I'm just making a decal for the engine cover, want it to match the colors on the fat M on it.

I made these up for my M4 using Oracle 651 Permanent Adhesive Vinyl (651-053 Lgt Blu, 651-067 Blue, 651-032 Lt. Red). The colors are actually several shades darker than they appear in the photo. The Blue is a deep blue. It all depends on the lighting.
