I'm new to this forum and eager to be more involved after I get my G80.

I received my build number on 8/3/23 and the status on mygarage.bmw is "order received". Does anyone know how long I have to wait or what should I do?

Your dealer should be able to provide you with a build week if you have a production number now, contact them and they'll tell you. Or you can call the BMW genius line and they'll let you know as well. Once you know your build week you can see if anyone else here has created a thread for it and follow along with your week.

I ended up ordering through a dealer in Ohio and will pay for shipping. The dealers in Houston had a long waitlist. I was on a waitlist in Dallas but dropped it once I got an allocation.

Call the BMW Genius with your build number and they will tell you the estimated week of production.

Also, they should give you a build sheet that shows production week, so you can estimate the production week, then the boat load then 28-32s on a boat to the port. If they gave you the number already it shouldn't be an issue for them to give you the build sheet
