Haha. I'm in similar boat. Did PCD yesterday and it was awesome. Just dropped for ppf, tint and ceramic. I was told next week. Fingers crossed.

Here are pics right before I dropped off this morning. I'm bracing myself for the negative feedback on the dravit forum since I'm in the small minority that is willing to stealth ppf dravit grey. Will post some pics once it's done.

Don’t listen to them I saw a stealth wrapped Dravit M340 and it was amazing. My personal gripe with dravit is that flaky gold that is exposed in the sun. I don’t mind the gold undertone but the flaky gold bothers me and the stealth wrap pretty much kills that.

I think I saw your car when I was there on Monday, it wasn’t in the lobby it was under the pillers where they line up the cars right when you exit the classroom.

I would post more pics but all my pics are of the PCD, while the truck delivered the car & when I dropped it off I told my wife to take pictures but she dropped the ball lol. My detailer will post pics as he progresses through the job. He’s also going on vacation starting tomorrow until Tuesday. Hopefully I’ll have it before September 5th since that’s my birthday. He asked if I was in a rush to get it back & I told him no, just because I want him and his team to take there time and do a perfect job. Not to mention the ceramic coating on the wheels glass & interior plus smoking out the reflectors and tail lights he added that for free.

Finally arrived at my dealer. I’ll post pics when I pick it up on Monday and immediately send it to PPF.

Picking it up Thursday. Talked to my SA this morning - fluffing me by telling me that everyone is blown away by the color and the interior.

They're offering XPEL in house, but pricing is like 20% higher than the best shop in the area with one of the top installers in the nation. So I won't actually get to drive it until the 9th.

I wouldn’t go with them. One they aren’t good detailers. Even at the PCD when I got my car back (I shipped it enclosed) and there where swirl marks. So they will most likely install the ppf will swirl marks on your car.

I would go to the best shop in your area you know they will do great quality work and basically come out with a perfect job. I wouldn’t trust any dealership with any detailing needs. If not mistaken they hire someone to do the job, which would make the 20% mark up makes sense.

yeah I have my appointment scheduled for the 5th with the good shop.

I bought a 12"x300' roll of track wrap to get me home and to the shop 45 minutes away.

So a interesting new thing that came up is that the pre cuts for the PPF don’t have the cuts if you have the Carbon fiber exterior pack. My detailer had to 3d scan and redesign the kit. He had had a handful of G80/82 that he has done ppf on, I guess I’m the only one that had the carbon fiber exterior pack.
