So would your shoulder straps attach to the cage via the 2 small horizontal bars on the rear legs of the cage? I’ve never had a cage so maybe I’m missing something but that appears to be the only feasible attachment point. Most of the designs out there that I can find (even Fall-Line Motorsports F-series cages) have the horizontal bar for the shoulder harness on the front legs of the cage where it is more accessible. With fixed back seats in an M4, it seems like it would be quite difficult to access the horizontal bars with this design.

We can see where you're coming from, but generally speaking, once you've wrapped your harness, it's staying put for 2-5 years depending on your rule book.

The reason for the rear harness bars on the G82 setup is a combination of rear mounting plate position and weight optimization. Because roll bars and cages do add a not-insignificant amount of weight, Fall-Line designs each setup to be as strong and light as possible as oppose to just welding a cage together wherever it fits. With the height of the rear mounts, they are able to utilize rear harness tubes that are much shorter than if they were part of the main hoop.

For harnesses being wrapped at the rear position, they should be very close together, touching, or crossing. See below:

Thanks for the info! Makes a lot more sense now. Can definitely appreciate the functionality of this design compared to others that are more about aesthetics.
