iDrive 8 Bimmercode

Has anyone tried adjusting the color value for the new iDrive 8 colors? I'm kinda disappointed with the new colors. Also is there an updated coding cheat sheet for iDrive 8? TIA!

Have you actually been able to get bimmercode working for idrive8 at all? I've plugged in the module and opened the app in test mode and almost nothing is available to code.

I'm with ya. Very disappointed with the color options. X7 LCI with curved display has the same colors we have, plus more…including Lavender, Papaya and Indigo.

I used Bimmer code on my '23 G80 Manual to disable ActiveSound no problem.

I have full functionality aside from the instrument cluster. I even used expert mode to code in a basic anti dazzle in the BDC

Nice work - most reports state that iDrive 8 isn't supported by Bimmercode as yet! Even Bimmercode themselves, but I'm guessing they haven't been able to test/verify that it works as yet but by your post it sounds like a lot of functionality is available.

So funny enough depends on the car my coworkers 23 x7 has no functionality bc bimmercode has not been able to get their hands on the LCI x7 to work on it but I can code anything in my 2023 g80 only thing restricted is the instrument cluster which makes sense since that’s the main change. It also depends on what OBD adapter you use as some don’t support certain ECU of the LCI g80 I use to have a VEEPEAK OBD and had to switch to OBDLINK which is made with bimmercode as it supported all ECU in my g80

any update on how to access the speed lock menu for the video in motion?
I was able to code all my mods with the Protools app.
I have ID8 and the latest version update.

Any word on if BimmerCode works for id8 yet? Got my G80 and was disappointed to see I didnt have purple as an interior light option anymore.

It’s available, but I personally didn’t find what you could code worth it unless the exhaust concert bothers really bothers you.

Awesome to know! I'm on the hunt after realizing purple isnt available as an interior color. Can you see if that shows as an option for me plz?

Purple is available with iD8 BimmerCode. I have it coded in my car (2023 M3CX).
