G80 M3 Harness Bar / Roll Bar Options?

Hi Everyone,

I just picked up a G80 M3 and would like to do Test & Tune track-days at my local racetrack.

Requirement is that the car is "race-prepped" with harness belts for driver, roll bar, and fire extinguisher.

Are there currently any off the shelf roll bar or harness bar options for the G80 M3?

Hi,
I have a roll bar in my G82 but G80

At the moment we are checking the possibility of harness belts and the carbon seat.

I have a development 4 point bolt in roll bar on order with RSR Studios for my G80. Should have it, and the car, by the end of this month.

Already have my 4 point belts as well, can’t freggin wait to get this thing on track!

4 point belts are not really safe, are they? Worst case you slide underneath the belt and damage your intestines. Either 6 point with a HANS (not to damage your neck) or regular seatbelt with hitting the airbag.

DOUT - Hoping to have it all installed before the end of October, will share pics when finished.

petrolhead. - I ordered the Schroth Profi II ASM 4 Point Harness (Anti-Sub). Look into it, very interesting design, the crash test videos is what sold me on it. Those, plus the carbon seats and HANS have me feeling relatively confident in my ability to walk away if something bad happens.

I do agree that any kind of harness is dangerous without rollover protection.
